You kept asking why the trim was added to the throw/ blanket binding. It appears to be a blanket for maybe a twin sized bed, meant to be used as a regular blanket over the sheets, and that's the reason it has that satin binding to designate the top edge of the blanket when making the bed. It wasn't designed as a throw to just use over the top of the bed or on a sofa. However, that is a great idea to repurpose it as a throw, by taking of the satin binding. Perhaps, if your used to using duvet covers, you may not know this as a normal bed blanket. Does that make sense?
i would have also put a shelf on that wall, so i could actually put living plants there… the blanket is adorable
You could have done a mezzannino, as a private bedroom, and the space down, would be more… There are lots of ideas, over for trong wood legs, and over them a strong floor, attached to them, stairs… Many Lofts have them.
Maybe it would have been fun if you embroidered something for the frames. I embroidered a floral pattern on a dark blue piece of fabric and it was pretty easy and looks really cute.
